Hi there Our Villager,

Today is Giving Tuesday – a global celebration of generosity and community.

Here at Our Village, that spirit is alive and well every single day!

Bec, one of our team working on the warehouse floor says:

“There’s such a special feeling in the warehouse – people are dropping off their pre-loved prams and baby clothing and all the volunteers are really gearing up for our busy season. You can see everyone is ready to create as much magic as possible in the lead up to Christmas. It's really obvious that every tiny onesie or cot we pack up is going to make a real difference for a family. It’s such a joy to be part of something that’s all about kindness and community.”

We’re blessed to have an incredible village of givers – people who open their hearts to donate beautiful, pre-loved cots, prams, clothes, books and toys.

Every single item we receive tells a story of care, love and hope forged between the generous family donating it and the grateful family receiving it.

Before those treasures reach the babies and children who need them most, a lot happens behind the scenes. Every cot needs to be safety checked, every pram cleaned and restored, every bundle of clothing sorted and lovingly packed.

Our incredible volunteers go above and beyond to make sure every single item that goes out the warehouse door is packaged with love and care.

But our hardworking volunteers are just one part of Our Village.

The reality is, we can’t deliver support to all the families that need us without financial donations.
