Dear Friend,
Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday! This global day of giving encourages us all to band together in generosity to support important causes—like Population Connection. You have made it clear by signing up for our messaging that global population stabilization is a priority for you. Thank you!
That’s why I’m excited to let you know that your generous fellow supporter will double your gift, up to $250,000, toward our Global Partners campaign!
Who are our Global Partners? They are small, local organizations working around the world to conserve wildlife through public health, advance access to sexual and reproductive health care, remove barriers to girls’ education, and more!
We have an ambitious goal of raising $25,000 for #GivingTuesday, and you can help meet it with your gift of $25.00 today! [[link removed]] Your gift will go twice as far!
The problems that our Global Partners tackle—much like rapid population growth—are global issues with local effects. They’re able to do their work, in part, thanks to the support of generous Population Connection donors.
One of these organizations is particularly effective at combining reproductive rights with environmental protection: Women for Conservation in Colombia.
Women for Conservation works in some of the world’s most biodiverse regions, where environmental pressures, limited access to healthcare, and economic challenges converge. Their programs provide women with the tools and support they need to establish sustainable livelihoods, become conservation leaders, and access essential reproductive health information and services.
Last year, support from committed donors helped Women for Conservation provide family planning services for hundreds of people in Colombia, ranging from education to tubal ligations and vasectomies. They also expanded their work to another biodiversity hotspot: Sierra Leone. There, they launched a project that provided women with family planning education, along with training for a tree-planting initiative that resulted in the planting of 1,500 trees as part of a reforestation effort.
This small but mighty organization is having an outsize impact on the communities it works in—illustrating how family planning can and should be integrated into conservation efforts.
Your generous #GivingTuesday gift of $25.00 today will support Women for Conservation and our other 18 Global Partners in 2026. [[link removed]]
You can help provide a transformative level of funding to these organizations while building on Population Connection’s mission to stabilize global population.
Thank you for your support during this season of giving. We appreciate your generosity!
Warm regards,
