Radical politicians are finding new ways to chip away at reproductive freedom, from new bans and restrictions on abortion to criminalizing miscarriages to targeting forms of birth control. Many of these same elected officials are also refusing to acknowledge the ratified Equal Rights Amendment, a major victory NOW fought decades to secure that finally gives women representation and protections against discrimination in the Constitution.
There’s also a new wave of anti-women propagandists who are spreading a dangerous, misogynistic message that’s influencing men and boys to believe that violating and abusing women and girls is okay.
To fend off these threats, we need committed supporters like you to back our grassroots, movement-building work in communities across the country. And together, we can make the progress needed to put America back on a path toward the intersectional feminist future we believe in.
