Hello Jack,
For nearly 30 years, Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit has helped families find loving homes for abandoned pets. This year we officially moved into our 20,000 square foot shelter in Dearborn with 38 staff and hundreds of volunteers on our team. In that space, our staff and volunteers help find homes for over 2,500 animals a year.
But caring for so many pets – feeding them, vaccinating them, and giving them medical treatment – takes time, love, and donations.
Each gift helps provide the food, medicine, and shelter a pet needs until that perfect family walks through our door. We also run community programs like Feed Fido and Read to Rover to keep pets with their families and to comfort shelter animals.
On Giving Tuesday, supporters around the country will open their hearts, and we hope you will join us. Every dollar you give saves a life right here in metro Detroit. Your gift on Giving Tuesday will ensure we can continue giving animals second chances. |
