That’s why we launched our Check the Exec campaign — to push back against the consolidation of presidential power and urge Congress to reassert its constitutional authority. [1]

• We’ve built new partnerships with allies across the political spectrum and translated that momentum into action on the ground. So far, we’ve engaged more than 65,000 citizens and sparked over 65,000 grassroots actions urging Congress to do its constitutional duty and rein in the runaway growth of executive power.
• We released our We the People Playbook, bipartisan solutions that can restore our checks and balances, and we’re working with our partners to up the pressure with public events across the country. [4]
