Kathy Hochul has made it clear she is against you. She said the more we chant “Tax the Rich,” the more she’ll resist doing it. A leader is supposed to listen first. She’s doing the opposite.

Tonight is deadline night, and tomorrow my team will meet to evaluate our fundraising progress and decide on our plan for the next stretch of the campaign.

But forget about that for just a moment, because I want to talk to you about why I’m even running for governor to begin with.

In one of the wealthiest states 1 in 4 New Yorkers can’t afford basic necessities, whether it’s housing, healthcare, or food.

The status quo is broken. While Hochul signals her allegiance to the oligarchs, I’m doubling down on my allegiance to the 19 million New Yorkers being left behind. I am running to fight for affordable housing, accessible healthcare, and universal child care.

Better things are possible. But only if we have the resources to win.

Tomorrow morning, my team meets to determine our budget for the next stretch of the campaign. What we raise tonight dictates how many voters we can reach with ads, literature, and signs. Political campaigns are expensive – and too often that means the status quo is able to skate by without a real challenge.

I won’t lie to you: challenging the establishment is an uphill battle. But I know I am not alone — I have supporters like you by my side. And there are countless more across the state who are hungry for change.

Some of them are chipping in right now, helping us meet tonight’s deadline. They’re hoping you will join them, and that we will crush tonight’s goal before these numbers go public.
