John, I have a confession to make: I don’t actually like Moxie. There, I said it.

I know, I know. It’s just not my drink of choice! My sister loves it and we’ve spent years arguing whether it is a delicious beverage or something closer to a coke spiked with cough syrup. But here’s the thing: while I may not enjoy drinking Moxie, I can promise you I’ve got plenty of moxie.

Moxie, after all, isn’t just Maine’s official state soft drink. It’s an attitude. It’s a mix of courage, grit, stubborn determination, and a special brand of Maine resilience.

It’s what carries you through tough challenges and it's what keeps you moving forward when the path ahead feels uncertain. So while I may not reach for a can of Moxie anytime soon, I’m proud to carry the spirit of it wherever I go.

And I’m running for Governor of Maine to bring the moxie spirit to tackle our state’s greatest challenges.
