A Thanksgiving Message
From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! This is a special time to gather with our loved ones and give thanks for the freedoms and opportunities God has given this great nation.
After years of rising prices, families will see relief at the grocery store this holiday season. Turkeys and many staple items are trending down, thanks to the strength of American agriculture, the hard work of our farmers, and the leadership of President Donald Trump.
As we gather around our tables, may we appreciate both the abundance before us and the hardworking men and women who make it possible. Let us also remember those who serve our communities, our nation, and those in need. May God continue to bless our troops and all who keep America safe.
Upholding Military Order and the Constitution
This week, I sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth requesting a full investigation into statements made by several Democratic lawmakers encouraging military personnel to defy lawful orders from the Commander-in-Chief. The U.S. military is a nonpartisan institution; it relies on unity, discipline, and respect for the chain of command.
History has shown that even the greatest of nations fall when their military acts on ideological division. The letter calls on the Department of Justice and the Department of War to determine whether these actions violated federal law, including statutes regarding unlawful command influence and incitement of insubordination.

Standing Up for Reliable American Energy
As your Congressman, I am committed to keeping energy reliable and affordable for every Texan. That is why I joined my House GOP colleagues in urging Secretary Wright and the Department of Energy to prioritize baseload energy projects. These projects provide consistent, dependable power capable of meeting minimum demand while supporting long-term needs. As Texas continues to grow, our energy infrastructure must grow with it.

Defending The Texas Industry
This week, I proudly cosponsored H.R.1415, the No IRIS Act. The No IRIS Act protects American jobs, safeguards critical supply chains, and ensures businesses can operate efficiently and safely.

In Case You Missed It
I joined WBAP Morning News to discuss the booming trade school movement in Texas. As Chairman of the House Small Business Committee, I am working to expand these opportunities so that every young Texan has a path to success. Our state is full of potential, and skilled trades are helping make it a reality.
In God we trust,
