Upgrades That Keep Our Communities Safe

We’ve completed major upgrades at the Park Forest Fire Training Site, one of the county’s busiest firefighter training facilities.

With a new roof, updated burn containers, and improved water supply, more than 500 firefighters from 50+ departments can now train more safely and effectively.

This is the newest investment through Build Up Cook, a $30.5 million ARPA-funded program, focused on strengthening critical infrastructure needs in municipalities throughout Cook County.
