We know that you’re likely tired of the never-ending news cycle, and the last thing you thought you would be doing is making a contribution to the DNC today.

But today is the day we’re asking Democrats to step up and chip in if you're in a place to do so. Let us explain why:

If this year has proven anything, it’s the danger of Trump in the White House with an emboldened Republican majority in Congress. Trump’s power is essentially unchecked, and he and his allies have wreaked havoc — tanking our economy, sending the National Guard into our cities, redrawing congressional maps in their favor, and attempting to silence those who disagree with them.

The only way we will be able to prevent more harm is if Democrats win back Congress in the midterms.

We get that you may be tired or feeling tapped out. But we cannot afford to just sit back and hope for the best right now. So we have to ask one more time:

Can you make a contribution to the DNC before our midnight fundraising deadline? It can be $5, $50, or whatever makes sense for you right now. It will all add up, and we will use those contributions to build the resources we’ll need to flip the House and Senate next year.
