Hello, True Texans!

Who's ready for a holiday break???  I am! Every year I say I'm taking December off from politics, and every year I try, but this year I mean it! 

Er... kinda.  

I wouldn't want to miss our amazing and fun and wonderful Christmas party!  And I hope you don't either.  Seriously (no pun intended) -- we laugh so hard at this event.  You've got to join us! 

The tickets are cheap.  You get heavy appetizers, rousing entertainment that encourages audience participation to sing, clap, and dance, a festive venue in the Christmas Capital of Texas, a chance to wear your jolliest outfit, time with the best patriots on the planet who actually understand the meaning of Christmas, and of course, you're helping to fund our youth scholarship!  All for just $49.  Guys, that is a bargain, and certainly worth every penny.

Texas high school students have until 11:59pm tonight - SUNDAY - to turn in their scholarship applications! We've got 4 prizes, plus all entries get free family tickets to the Christmas party.  What a deal!  Apply here.

Remember how at the beginning of the year we were $175,000 in the red?  Talk about a punch to the gut.  Well, we've worked really hard to cut costs and raise money, and it looks like we're only about $10,000 shy of meeting our goal!  That's a testimony to YOU, the grassroots of Texas. Can we brag on you a bit here?

• We operate at 25% of the cost of other similar grassroots organizations -- and we do oh-so-much more!  For example, a group we know of has a $2 million budget.  Ours is only $500,000. 
• Even with those low numbers, we are ranked the #6 group to show up in Austin and give input on bills.  The top 5?  Lobbyists working against you.
• We host around 500 events every year!!!
• We post election recommendations for over 1/2 of Texas's 254 counties -- with an 80% win rate!
• We've trained thousands of True Texans and True Texan Youth in our Certified True Texan classes.
• We don't have a sugar daddy!  The bulk of our support comes from individuals making recurring donations of $35/month.
• We've got big plans for 2026: The Year of the Patriot!

Join us in our efforts.  Maybe you'd like to include us in your end-of-year giving.  We do SO much, but it does take funding. You can see the fruit of our labor, right?  This is not a scam where your hard-earned dollars are going to high salaries or out-of-state corporate offices. Nobody works harder or does more than True Texas Project!

Year of the Patriot Conference - Houston and DFW.  It's an election year, plus America's 250th birthday, plus it's just great to be a Texan, so there's lots to celebrate during our Year of the Patriot conferences.  We'll have our first one on Jan 24 in Houston, and then in late summer we'll have another one in the DFW area.  Both will be unique though, so you'll want to attend each time!  Get it on your radar. More details soon.
