If I've learned anything over my more than half-century in Democratic politics, it's that we cannot afford to take any state for granted. Especially not the ones we think are "safe."

That's why if you've been sleeping on Michael Bennet's campaign for governor out in Colorado, I'm going to need you to WAKE THE HELL UP – because we're only 1 day away from his end-of-month goal, and he's on track to fall short.

So before I go on, I need every member of this grassroots team to get serious and rush $5 or more to his campaign before midnight tonight.

Now you'll have to pardon my French, but I'm scared sh*tless Democrats just don't get how bad we need to gin up grassroots resources to fight in Colorado.

'Cause right now, big-time Republicans like Trump and Lauren Boebert are already putting their thumbs on the scales of this race.

And even though you and I know they're really the ones to blame for housing and health care soaring out of reach for regular folks, mark my words: 

They'll do anything, say anything and spend anything if it makes voters blame Democrats like Michael for the outcomes of their bat-sh*t policies.

I know Michael Bennet is the right person for the job. That’s why I was proud to endorse him for president in 2020. But without the funds to reach every single voter, from the Denver suburbs to the most remote mountain communities, the GOP will beat us to the punch. They will flood the airwaves with millions in attack ads to ensure this movement sinks. And we will NOT have the resources to fight back. 

If you want to stop that from happening, then PLEASE, yall, before midnight, donate $5, $25, or anything you can – toot sweet – to ensure Michael reaches his $550,000 goal tonight and has the grassroots support to win this thing.

We'll sleep when we're dead, because NOW is Colorado's best chance to provide the vision this country desperately needs – as long as Michael can count on you as a part of this team.
