John, I just announced my campaign for Congress in CA-11.
[ [link removed] ]I want to tell you a little more about my story – and what brought me
to this moment. If it speaks to you, I hope you’ll consider making a split
donation to my campaign and Blue Amp Action to help launch this
grassroots campaign.

I came to San Francisco as a first-generation immigrant. My mom, my
brother, and I lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Chinatown, and from a
young age, I translated for neighbors who were shut out of the system.
Like many immigrant families, we lived simply and worked hard to build a
life here.
When neighbors couldn’t get the help they needed, my mom didn’t tell me to
look away -- she gave me the phone and said, “Translate.”
So I did.
For elders trying to navigate basic services. For families who played by
the rules and were still treated like they didn’t belong.
I watched families like mine get shut out, and I learned early how much it
meant when someone showed up to help.
That’s what led me into public service.
It’s why, as Supervisor, I fought for stronger tenant protections, real
affordable housing, better wages for city workers, and expanded City
College access – the basic things families need to stay rooted here.
And now San Francisco is choosing its next voice in a moment when the
stakes could not be higher. Trump is threatening immigrant communities
again, health care is on the chopping block, and working families are
being pushed out of their own cities.
Families like the one I grew up in need someone who will stand up and
fight back. That’s why I’m running, and why I’m asking you to join me:
[ [link removed] ]We need to show overwhelming grassroots strength early. Can you chip in
$10, split between my campaign and Blue Amp Action, to help us build a
campaign rooted in the community values my mom taught me?
