I was thinking about you this holiday weekend — I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with good food, laughter and people you love.

But not everyone in our community is feeling that care and connection. Many neighbors are battling hunger and homelessness, unsure if tomorrow will be any different.

As Giving Tuesday approaches, we need some friends now ahead of the December holidays — so that families and other individuals facing emergencies and hard times get the support they need. 

When you lead with kindness, you help someone move from surviving to rebuilding. You can put food on the table, light in a shelter room and dignity back into that person’s life.
