When Rob Sand first jumped into the Iowa governor’s race, I told you, the guy is tailor-made to win this thing. He’s our best and only shot to pull off a win like this.
And it looks like folks are finally starting to catch on:
Newsweek: Democrat Leads Republican for Governor in State Trump Won 3 Times—Poll
I’ve read, analyzed, and picked apart more polls than most, so I’ve got a pretty good sense of when something is a mirage and when it’s the real deal.
And mark my words, John: Rob Sand can win in Iowa.
A combination of elements has put this race at the center of the 2026 map:
First, as I mentioned, Rob is built for this. He’s Iowa, through and through, and Iowans of all political stripes are embracing his vision for moving the Hawkeye State forward.
Second, the partisan insiders that have dominated Iowa politics for the last decade are unpopular, and folks are sick and tired of a system that puts greed ahead of community.
Add all that together, and boy oh boy, it’s obvious to me that we’ve got one heck of a barn burner shaping up in Iowa.
But partisan insiders and special interests are ready to break the bank on this one, and Rob needs resources to counter their attacks and keep spreading his campaign message. Will you chip in $25 toward his $75,000 November fundraising goal to help him do that?

We know what we need to do, John, so let’s hop to it.
