John, if progressive Aftyn Behn wins the special congressional
election in Tennessee on Tuesday, the shockwave will echo across the
political world like the roar of a cannon. Here’s why this longshot race
should be in your sights.

In 2022, Republicans gerrymandered this district specifically to gain a
seat in Congress. In 2024, Trump won it by over 20 points.

But the latest polls show Aftyn Behn running neck and neck with her
Republican opponent. And The Nation reports, "This Democrat has a real
chance to flip a deep-red congressional seat."

We have to be honest here. Districts like this are really hard to flip.
But if Aftyn does it, the impact will be enormous.

In a district that hasn’t sent a Democrat to Congress since 1980, Aftyn is
saying to voters what too many in the Democratic establishment won’t:

"Billionaires and greedy corporations have rigged our system…it’s not left
versus right, it’s top versus bottom."

"If we don’t bring change to Congress, the billionaires and bought out
politicians will continue to rig the system against us."

It’s not just the voters who are noticing. Aftyn is being supported by
trusted organizations like End Citizens United and Congressional
Progressive Caucus Leaders Maxwell Frost and Pramila Jayapal.
