Nikki is one of the most effective fighters in Congress for working families in IL-13 and beyond. Full stop.

Despite the chaos of the Republican majority, she’s continued to bring real results back to Central and Southern Illinois -- from protecting good-paying local jobs, to expanding veteran care, and ensuring public education stays funded.

And during the historically-long government shutdown, she wasn’t hiding from Illinoisans like the GOP. She was on the ground in the district listening to folks’ stories and taking them back to Washington to keep up the fight.

Her tireless work is part of what makes her a Republican target in next year’s midterm elections. We already are facing multiple GOP challengers who want nothing more than to flip this seat back to red and expand their majority that puts billionaires before the middle class.
