Here are some of the BIG corporate victories Green America recently won:
Amazon, Verizon & AT&T: We’ve pushed them to make several of the largest corporate purchases of renewable energy EVER. Together, we are holding some of the world's wealthiest companies accountable for their massive carbon footprint.
Apple: We convinced them to remove the most dangerous chemicals, like benzene, a known carcinogen, from iPhone manufacturing facilities. Apple was so impressed with our campaign that they agreed to partner with us to make the entire electronics industry safer for workers. That means protecting workers in 800 facilities worldwide!
CVS: We pressured them to shorten their infamously long receipts, remove the toxic chemical coating, and sign up over 1 million customers to its digital receipt program. This saves 90 million yards of paper—enough to circle the Earth twice!
