John, the cuts that Republicans have proposed to health care are devastating. I’ve spoken with people across the 14th District, and they’ve told me just how concerned they are about the impacts of these cuts to the care they need. Without support from Medicaid, nursing homes and rural hospitals will be forced to close their doors without the reimbursements that Medicaid provides. That means driving further for care, leading to worse outcomes for all of us. These cuts don’t just impact a few of us; they impact ALL of us. That’s why I’m fighting so hard to deliver affordable care — because we need it.
