John --

With ballots arriving in voters’ mailboxes tomorrow, I want to share some reflections on what motivated me to get into this race, and how far we’ve come:

When I decided to run for this office, the fact I’d be the first member of Congress from WA-10 who identifies as LGBTQ+ -- and the first member in the entire country born in the 90’s was not lost on me.

But this campaign is about so much more than electing a “first.” What’s become clear over time is that several of my opponents are willing to pay lip service to real change, but then take contradictory actions -- especially on the important issue of campaign finance reform.

Voters in WA-10 deserve better: They deserve a true champion who isn’t afraid to call out the status quo and politics as usual -- even within our own party. They deserve to be represented in Congress by someone who will lead by example.

I promise that when elected to this office, I will work tirelessly to deliver for the South Sound every day -- the same way my old boss Denny Heck did. I’ll help build power for issues that matter to my constituents by electing other young people across the country.

My staff tells me that in order to stay competitive this week, we need to close a $2,989 gap for our GOTV fund. So I’m asking once again: Can you dig just a bit deeper and give $3 to get our message out to more voters? >> [link removed]

Help me put a downpayment on the next generation of leadership.

Thanks in advance,

Phil Gardner
