Earlier this month I announced that I would not be running for re-election in 2026 so I can prioritize my family.

But I’m still committed to helping take back the House next year by supporting and electing Blue Dog candidates around the country.

These are seats in rural America that Democrats aren’t supposed to win, but we’ve proven that we can win by supporting working-class, independent-minded candidates who always put their communities ahead of the special interests in Washington D.C.

The path for Democrats to take back the House runs through these Blue Dog districts. We’re recruiting strong candidates with working class backgrounds who appeal to a wide range of voters.
