Hey, Tim Walz here, Governor of Minnesota, with an important message for you.

Yesterday, Gwen, Hope, Gus, and I celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends. It’s a time for gratitude – and I want to extend my deepest thanks to you for your support this year. Your commitment truly makes our state and our country stronger, and I’m profoundly grateful for all you do.

Serving our state and all Minnesotans every day is a privilege I will forever cherish. However, Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are not serving working Americans. They are only serving themselves and their billionaire buddies. And I’ll keep shouting it from the rooftops for as long as I have to.

We should all be deeply concerned about what’s happening in Washington – and the threats to democracy that are coming from the White House.

But there is some good news.

Team, a few weeks ago, our country saw two big wins for Democratic governors, and I send a huge congratulations to Governors-elect Spanberger in Virginia and Sherrill in New Jersey! These wins matter – and they show what’s possible when we organize, mobilize, and refuse to back down.

Now, we need to take this momentum into 2026.

Next year, my re-election campaign will be one of 36 critical gubernatorial races on the ballot nationwide. Democratic governors have proven that a better future is possible – but we can only keep moving forward if we stand together.

Listen, there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it: If we are going to win, we need you on our side. We need Democrats nationwide to step up now and join us in sending an unmistakable message to Donald Trump and the GOP.
