Our public school teachers are leaving classrooms in droves. While Republicans in Tennessee want to continue spending billions on a voucher scam, our K-12 education system remains underfunded, classrooms continue to be overcrowded, and too many students still can’t get the support and services they need and deserve.
We must better protect our schools, pay our teachers well, show them the respect they deserve, and stop steering public dollars into private hands to the detriment of our own children in traditional public schools.
