Grateful to have you with me in this fight.

John, when I left the Governor’s Office in January, it was with a great sense of humility and gratitude.

Getting the chance to serve the state I love so much for eight years was an amazing opportunity. I thought that would likely be the end of my time in elected office, but it kept nagging at me that I might still be needed.

I saw how important this Senate seat was for not only our state, but for our country, and it got me thinking about a verse from the Book of Luke:

To whom much is given, much is required.

I have received so many blessings in my life, John. Every race I’ve ever won; every opportunity I’ve ever been given — it was all possible because of people who helped me, supported me, and put their trust in me.

If there is still more I can do to give back to this country that I love, I have to try.

I know that we can win this toss-up seat. I wouldn’t be running otherwise. But I also know this will be the toughest fight of my career. The GOP is pouring funds into propping up my opponent, and polls are tightening. I am asking for your help again.

I believe that there is so much left for us to accomplish together, and if we flip this seat blue and take back the Senate for the American people, we can start to get to work. Please, donate any amount you can before our November deadline on Sunday to stand with me.
