It’s Black Friday. The internet is screaming about “last chance” deals, but a lot of folks are choosing something different this year: the economic blackout, spending less with big retailers, and being more intentional about where their money goes.

The thing is, nonprofits like It Gets Better depend on support from Black Friday through Giving Tuesday to keep our work with LGBTQ+ youth going strong. We also respect that you might be observing the blackout and don’t want to cross your own picket line just to snag a discount on merch.

So we’re doing things differently this year. 

All items in the It Gets Better store will stay discounted through the end of the year. If you’re not shopping today, come back when it feels right and still grab something that supports queer youth.

Plus, every donation of $100 or more will receive a free copy of Perfectly Queer, our award-winning conversational card game. It’s a hell of a lot more meaningful than another pair of socks you didn’t need.

This isn’t just about merch or perks. It’s about what your support makes possible.

Our Bigger Picture campaign is funding youth-led grant projects, digital programs, and storytelling campaigns that remind LGBTQ+ youth they’re not alone. As one of our Youth Voices ambassadors, Angelo, put it:
