It also succinctly defines the only proper economic and political meaning that should be assigned to the term “the American system.”

LaRouche situates the role in the founding of the United States of the 15th century Cardinal Nicholas of Cusa, and also discusses the difference between so-called “republican “forms of government in Europe versus the republic of the United States. LaRouche asserts that there has never been a competent form of Republic in Europe at any time since the Greeks. He also discusses how to carry out monetary and financial reforms together with other nations. “The Issue of Manifest Destiny Today” also provides for young Americans and others the historical background necessary for discovering , during the 250th year commemorations of the birth of the United States, what the United States actually is, and who we actually are.
