Happy Thanksgiving, friend!

Thank you for believing in our fight to protect eastern North Carolina.

You have stood by me through every tough race, trusted me to represent our community in Washington, and shown up when it mattered most. 

That trust has carried me from the tobacco fields where I grew up to the Air Force to serving as Snow Hill’s mayor, state senator, and now your Congressman. I carry those lessons with me every day.

This Thanksgiving, I am grateful and proud of what we have built together — investments in schools, healthcare, and broadband that help our neighbors and strengthen our local economy.

I also know the work is far from over. Republicans are trying to push me out of this district with mid-cycle redistricting. Your belief in this fight means everything as we stand up for eastern North Carolina.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with me and for believing in our community. I’m honored to fight for eastern North Carolina, and I’m grateful to do it with you.
