John,
As we gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share something simple but important: thank you.
This year has been hard on a lot of families — from rising costs to healthcare challenges to the uncertainty many feel about the future.
Through all of it, I’ve met people across eastern Connecticut who show extraordinary resilience, kindness, and determination. It’s those conversations — in union halls, small businesses, hospitals, farms, and senior centers — that remind me every day who I’m fighting for.
And I’m especially grateful for supporters like you. Your engagement, your hope, and your belief in what we can build together keep this work moving forward.
This Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you’re able to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time with the people who matter to you.
From my family to yours: Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you for standing with me, for supporting our work, and for being part of this community.
Warmly,
Joe Courtney

Big thanks to Enfield Food Shelf, Connecticut Foodshare, Midwest Food Bank, and the volunteers whose generosity made this Thanksgiving brighter for families in need in our community.
