Every year, the holiday season reminds us of something fundamental: we’re at our best when we’re showing up for one another.

This week marked my third year in a row of joining Commissioner William McCurdy II and local community leaders to deliver over 600 turkeys and trimmings to families across Clark County, helping ensure every family can gather around a full table on Thanksgiving.

What always strikes me most on days like this is the spirit of generosity that defines our country. 

No matter our politics or disagreements, we are bound together by a shared belief in community, dignity, and taking care of our neighbors.

From my family to yours, I want to wish you a safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving. I hope the days ahead bring you rest, joy, and time with the people you love.
