November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to show appreciation for the nearly 12 million Americans providing unpaid care for someone living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. These family members and friends give so much time and effort to help those they care for — often at great physical and emotional cost to themselves. If there is a caregiver in your life, please take a few minutes to reach out to them, to offer a helping hand and to simply say, "Thank you."
