Dear neighbors,  

Happy Thanksgiving! This holiday season gives us a chance to pause and look around at what really matters. It’s easy to get caught up in the pace of everyday life, but this season reminds us to slow down and appreciate the people who matter to us most. 

Across our region, I continue to see the best of Minnesota in action — neighbors lending a hand, small businesses giving back, and families showing up for one another. That sense of responsibility to each other is what keeps our communities grounded and resilient. It’s something we should be proud of and continue to build on. 

I’m thankful for those in the community who keep things running even when the rest of us are celebrating: healthcare workers, law enforcement, farmers, and countless others who put service before convenience. Their commitment keeps our state moving forward every single day. 

This Thanksgiving, I hope you find time to share a meal, reconnect with friends and family, and reflect on the simple things that make life good. From my family to yours, I wish you a safe and meaningful holiday.
