JOHN,

As you gather around the table today, I hope you’re surrounded by family, laughter, and a sense of hope. I know the news cycle never seems to slow down, and if it feels like we’re constantly going at it up in Washington—you’re probably right.

But even in the chaos, we have so much to be grateful for.

President Trump has made real strides for the American people over the past year, and I’m proud to work alongside him and my fellow Republicans to keep pushing the America First agenda forward.

We live in the most free and prosperous country in the dadgum world. Don’t let anyone on the Left tell you anything different.

We owe that blessing to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—and to the brave men and women who defend this nation. They’re the reason we can take today off and enjoy a home-cooked meal with the people we love.
