The EPA wants to let manufacturing companies avoid certain PFAS reporting requirements. Tell EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin we need information on PFAS! ([link removed])

John,

PFAS chemicals are ubiquitous – in fact, nearly half of municipalities are estimated to have toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” in their water. Yet instead of collecting as much information as possible on these toxic contaminants, the EPA wants to weaken reporting requirements for PFAS.

Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to slash the amount of information that PFAS manufacturers and importers would have to report.

Tell EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to do his job and protect our communities – not corporate polluters. ([link removed])

Last week, the EPA released a proposed rule seeking to weaken a 2023 mandate that required industries to provide information about PFAS they produced or imported. That rule filled a critical information gap – because even now, the EPA doesn’t know the extent of PFAS chemicals in U.S. commerce.

The proposed changes would create massive loopholes. They’d exempt PFAS in imported goods, such as electronics and apparel, as well as small concentrations in mixtures, research and development chemicals, and certain byproducts and impurities.

Take action now! Tell the EPA to STOP giving the industry a free pass to hide contamination behind technicalities. ([link removed])

TAKE ACTION NOW! ([link removed])

This is a direct attack on public health. Rolling back reporting means it will be even harder for scientists and communities to understand the scope of the PFAS crisis.

The diseases, developmental disorders, and lifelong damage caused by PFAS are preventable. The EPA must protect communities from these toxic substances, not roll back important disclosure requirements.

Public comments are now open: Tell EPA Administrator Zeldin that we deserve to know about the extent of the PFAS crisis. ([link removed])

Onward together,
