John,

This Thanksgiving, as we gather with our loved ones, let us remember those whose families do not get to spend the holiday together. Families who may be separated by borders, detention center walls, or the fears of arrest at the hands of ICE. As we gather in warmth and abundance with our loved ones this Thanksgiving, let's remember those who can't. They deserve to be together, too.

We have witnessed first hand, families torn apart attending court hearings, ripped away from loved ones on the streets across the state, and even in their own homes. These moments remind us that cruelty is a choice—BUT so is compassion

Together, we can turn compassion into liberation and justice.

This holiday season, channel your gratitude into action. Donate to our  Emergency Justice Fund, a lifeline providing direct support to immigrants who have been or may be at risk of detention.

Your donation to the Emergency Justice Fund provides direct assistance to immigrant New Yorkers by supporting their commissary and bond funds, defraying costs associated with reuniting with their families, legal fees, housing, and other basic needs.

CONTRIBUTE

In the spirit of togetherness, we can collectively stand up for immigrant New Yorkers. This Thanksgiving, let your compassion speak louder than any fear, hatred or bigotry ever could.

In Solidarity,
