Thank you, John.
You've played such an important role in the impact IRC has made this year. In Gaza, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Sudan and other crisis zones around the world, you've helped families facing the hardest moments of their lives.
Your kindness and compassion have truly been a lifeline.
Together, we've provided safe shelter, clean water, emergency food and other life-changing services in more than 40 countries—helping people survive, recover and rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
As many of us in the United States gather with loved ones tomorrow, I'm reminded that this simple act—sharing a meal together, feeling safe—is something war and disaster too often take from refugees and displaced families. Your support helps restore that sense of safety and connection.
From all of us here at the International Rescue Committee, thank you for all you do for refugees and displaced families. We couldn't do this work without you.
Wishing you and yours a happy Thanksgiving!
—Hank 💛
