The Holiday Brunch is also a time for AYD to recognize outstanding members in our organization and the local Democratic community. Please complete this form to nominate fellow AYD members for our annual membership awards. Nominations close on December 1st at 11:59pm. Please include the name of the AYD member and a brief rationale for the nomination.

Following nominations, voting will open on December 2nd and close December 4th. Awards will be presented at the Holiday Brunch.

2026 Arlington Democrats Caucus and Reorganization

The Arlington County Democratic Committee will hold its 2026 Assembled Caucus and Reorganization Meeting on:

📅 Wednesday, January 7, 2026

🕖 Meeting begins at 7:15 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM)

📍 Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School, 3500 S. 23rd Street, Arlington, VA

This is where Arlington Democrats elect Precinct Captains and choose County Committee officers for the next two years. If you're interested in getting more involved with the county party, this is your opportunity!

To vote in the caucus and/or the reorganization meeting, you must submit the Voter Filing Form by 7:00 PM EST on December 15, 2025.

If you want to run for Precinct Captain or for a County Committee officer role, you must submit the Candidate Filing Form by 7:00 PM EST on December 5, 2025.

Both forms, along with the official Call and Rules, are available on the Arlington Democrats website.

AYD Day of Action

Join AYD for a Day of Action on December 13th!

We will start the day laying wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America, followed by gift wrapping and clean up with True Grounds, an affordable housing developer helping families in the Arlington and D.C. area.
