John,
If we don’t keep a sense of humor about what’s happening in Minnesota government, we’d end up crying about it. In just the past three days, the news has been packed with one fraud headline after another. It’s exhausting, it’s frustrating, and it’s costing taxpayers real money.
In the video below, I walk through several of the latest examples, including:
- Reports that Minnesota tax dollars may have been routed to al-Shabaab, a federally recognized terrorist organization.
- The 77th and 78th convictions in the Feeding Our Future scandal, including defendants caught trying to bribe a jury.
- A judge overturning a $7.2 million fraud conviction that a jury had already delivered.
- Millions in questionable SNAP enrollments, including DHS hiding eligibility verification data from federal oversight.
This isn’t normal. It’s not acceptable. And Minnesotans are right to feel tired and discouraged watching this pattern repeat itself over and over. Please watch and share this video - and consider joining our grassroots movement with a donation:

Here’s my promise to you: as the next State Auditor, my job every morning will be to hunt down every dollar of fraud I can find and make sure those responsible are held accountable. No excuses. No looking the other way. No protecting insiders.
But I can’t do this alone. This campaign is powered by regular Minnesotans, not the political establishment that allowed this problem to grow in the first place. If you want real accountability restored, I’m asking for your support.
If you’re able, chip in $5 today or more. It genuinely helps.
And if there’s a fraud case or concern you think we should be looking into, reply or submit it on our website.
We’ll be launching our “30 Fraud Sites in 30 Days” tour soon, and I’m excited to bring this fight directly to communities across the state. Stay tuned for that or let me know if you have recommendations for a tour stop;
Thank you for standing with us.
