After investigating the NRA, we submitted a letter to the New York State Attorney General outlining serious complaints and governance failures that demanded scrutiny. Soon after, the Attorney General launched a full investigation and took Wayne LaPierre and the NRA to court.

Since that lawsuit, the NRA has entered a death spiral: millions of members lost, revenue collapsing, and its once untouchable CEO Wayne LaPierre was forced to resign in disgrace just before his trial, where he was found liable for corruption.
The gun lobby that claimed “the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” has finally been exposed for what it is.
