Dear John,

Each Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on God's provision over the last year, both personally and for Americans United for Life (AUL).

This past year has been one of growth and refocus for the organization. In addition to adding new members to the AUL team, we partnered with the Center for Client Safety—an already-established, highly effective enforcement organization—to strengthening our overall impact.

We have seen Congress defund abortion providers for the first time in history, and we have worked tirelessly to stave off assisted suicide legislation in many states.

The blessings clearly abound.

But, I am most grateful for the supporters for whom without none of these things would have been possible. It takes boldness and the backing of prayer for our team to fight for human dignity and moral truth, day in and day out, and having you partner with AUL makes all the difference.

I pray for each of you this season. I pray for peace and for perseverance, for time with family and friends, and for opportunities to serve those in need—to bring the grace, love, and truth of Jesus Christ to the world.

As we go into this Thanksgiving season, I leave you with this benediction:

“The Lord bless you

and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you

and be gracious to you;

the lord turn his face toward you

and give you peace.”

– Numbers 6:24-26
