Dear Friend,
As we approach the busy end of the year, I didn’t want to miss the chance to say thank you for what you have made possible in 2025. I’m grateful for your partnership with AFSC—and I hope you enjoy this short video that shows just some of the work we have done together.
In Gaza, our staff on the ground called your solidarity and support a “light in the darkness” that encouraged them to keep going. Displacement after displacement, they regrouped to help others: providing food, school activities for children, support groups, and more.
This year, many of us experienced federal immigration enforcement disrupting our communities and terrorizing our neighbors. But you joined us in saying we are stronger with immigrants. We spoke out about harmful policies. And when our neighbors faced detention and deportation, we provided legal support, advocacy, emergency assistance, and more.
You also helped us work hand-in-hand with communities to build economic justice—creating systems that allow all people to thrive with access to safe housing, fresh food, and other basic needs. As our government cut funding for human needs while investing in weapons of war, work like this on the local level is more important than ever.
As an AFSC supporter, you join a 108-year tradition of action for peace and justice. I’m so grateful to have such a large and committed community—made up of friends who have been with us for decades and others who joined just this year.
With your help, we can face whatever challenges come in the year ahead. We will continue to put our values into action: working for a peaceful world where the dignity of each person is honored.
In peace,
