Trump Peace Plan on Ukraine War Set to Be Rejected by Putin

The fighting could continue until after Christmas. New York Post: Russia is set to reject the new 19-point cease-fire deal drafted by the US and Ukraine but may use disinformation tactics  to keep President Trump engaged in continued talks — suggesting the war will last at least through Christmas, sources told The Post on Tuesday. The White House has said it is working to secure a deal after Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff developed a previous controversial 28-point version of the plan that heavily favored Moscow. That plan included input from Kyiv, the Trump administration has insisted. The proposal, roundly criticized by both sides of the US political aisle and international community because it was so one-sided, was then narrowed down to a 19-point plan acceptable to Ukraine after talks between top Washington and Kyiv officials happened Sunday (New York Post). Albert Mohler: It is very difficult for us to accept the bad things happen in the world. The bad things do happen in the world, and at least one thing we can do for good is to try to make bad things less bad than they otherwise would be. That might not sound to be too lofty as an aspiration, but realism in foreign policy means at times, that’s exactly what you have to do. You have to go for the least bad option available and try to save as much life and as much dignity as possible (Mohler).

War Secretary Hegseth Pressing for Hearing on Sen. Mark Kelly
Hegseth is serious and he’s upset—recognizing the clear effort to foster insubordination from our armed forces. Fox News: War Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded an update on the review by Dec. 10. “The Department of War recently received information regarding potentially unlawful comments made by CAPT (Ret) Mark E. Kelly in a public video, on or about November 18, 2025. I am referring this, and any other related matters, for your review, consideration, and disposition as you deem appropriate,” Hegseth wrote. “Please provide me a brief on the outcome of your review by no later than December 10, 2025,” his letter concluded (Fox News). From the War Department’s official statement: a thorough review of these allegations has been initiated to determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures. This matter will be handled in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality. Further official comments will be limited, to preserve the integrity of the proceedings (War).

Minnesota Judge Overturns Guilty Verdict of Somalian Convicted in Fraud Case
Minnesotans are angry. Newsweek: A Minnesota judge acquitted a man on multiple charges after a jury found him guilty of aiding and abetting theft, sparking backlash from conservatives on social media. Minnesota Fourth Judicial District Judge Sarah West on Thursday granted a motion for acquittal filed by Abdifatah Abdulkadir Yusuf on charges related to fraud at a company he owned, Promise Health Services LLC. West ruled that the state’s case “relied heavily on circumstantial evidence.” … The judge’s ruling has been criticized by conservatives. Republican Minnesota State Representative and gubernatorial candidate Kristin Robbins told KARE that she was “stunned” by the decision. “I was surprised to see the judge overturned a jury’s guilty verdict & acquit a defendant in a $7.2 million fraud case involving Medicaid,” she wrote on X. “I will be looking at ways to strengthen state law so fraud cases can be successfully prosecuted in state court” (Newsweek). Eric Daugherty: Outrage has erupted after a radical judge in Democrat Hennepin County MN REVERSES the conviction of Abdifatah Yusuf, despite stealing $7.2 million taxpayer dollars. Others could be let free now. JUROR: “I am SHOCKED. It was OBVIOUS guilt!” (Daugherty).

50 Schoolchildren Escape Captivity in Nigeria; Islamists Still Hold Over 250
NBC News reports: Fifty of the 303 schoolchildren abducted from a Catholic school in north-central Nigeria’s Niger state have escaped captivity and are now with their families, the school authority said Sunday, bringing relief to some distraught families after one of the largest school abductions in Nigeria’s history. The schoolchildren, aged between 10 and 18, escaped individually between Friday and Saturday, according to the Most Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Niger state and the proprietor of the school (NBC News). CBN: Right now, 253 children and 12 teachers are still being held after they were taken last week from a Catholic school in eastern Nigeria. A total of 303 students were initially abducted, but 50 managed to escape. Earlier in the week, another 25 children, most of them Muslim, were kidnapped in a separate attack in eastern Nigeria. Nigeria remains one of the most dangerous places in the world for Christians. Open Doors reports 69 percent of all Christians killed for their faith around the world last year were murdered in that country. “Today we speak of blood,” warned Mike Waltz, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. “We speak of the blood that still cries from Nigerian soil” (CBN).

Watching the Special Election in Tennessee: Matt Van Epps (R) v. Aftyn Behn (D)
Early voting ends today for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional district—a seat that was vacated as a result of Republican Mark Green’s resignation for an opportunity in the private sector. General election is on Tuesday next week—December 2. The district is heavily Republican, but Democrats and Democrat PACs have spent heavily looking to flip the district. It was a race we heard little of … then the Aftyn Behn video came out, where she boldly spoke of how much she hates Nashville—in the neighboring 5th district. Fox 17: She said, “I’ve been heavily involved in the Nashville mayoral race because I hate this city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate country music. I hate all the things that make Nashville apparently “IT CITY” to the rest of the country. But I hate it. I’m the girl at the airport– while all these girls are giddy and walking out in their two-tone colored Pantone pink shirts, and they’re like OMG Nashville– and so loud…” (Fox 17). President Trump: I am asking all America First Patriots in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, who haven’t voted yet, to please GET OUT AND VOTE for MAGA Warrior Matt Van Epps, tomorrow, November 26th, the last day to vote early in person. You can win this Election for Matt! (Trump).

Fed Looks Likely to Cut Interest Rate—Though Dissents Look Likely
It’s been said that this is the most divided Federal Reserve Board in decades. Wall Street Journal: Allies of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell have laid the groundwork for him to push a rate cut through a divided committee at next month’s meeting even though it could draw multiple dissents. The unusual level of division inside the Fed means that, to an even greater degree than usual, the final call rests with Powell. To negotiate these stark divisions, Powell is likely to weigh two approaches, each with drawbacks. The first: cut rates, as markets now expect, and use the exquisitely negotiated postmeeting statement to signal a higher bar for further reductions. This “cut then hold” approach would mirror what Powell did in late 2019 when, like now, three cuts met meaningful resistance from his colleagues (Wall Street Journal).

New Location Feature on X Exposes Fakers and Frauds
Sadly, so much of the damage is already done. Some of the fraudsters were soliciting donations for Gaza. New York Post: The new location tool on X has revealed that a slew of users seeking donations while claiming to be posting from inside Gaza are actually outside the zone and taking advantage of the devastating war. The social-media company recently unveiled a feature that publicly displays key background information about an account, including the location on where it’s based. The feature has already unmasked a sprawling ecosystem of accounts taking advantage of disasters and political unrest across the world, including inside the war-torn Gaza Strip (New York Post). Gaza native and bold critic of Hamas Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib: The past 24 hours have been an absolute bloodbath for the pro-Hamas, pro-“resistance” crowds who have spent 2 years attacking me and all Gazans who are against October 7, the terror group, and suicidal adventurism. ALL OF THEM are based in Turkey, Germany, Pakistan, Qatar, Yemen, Canada & elsewhere – none of them are Palestinian (Alkhatib). Much gratitude to Elon Musk.

Surprise! The World’s Strongest Woman Is … a Man
Actually, they have stripped him of his title after it was discovered that he “was born a male.” New York Post: The controversial winner of the World’s Strongest Woman competition was stripped of her title Tuesday after organizers claimed the hulking American never told them she was born a man. Jammie Booker was disqualified just days after she destroyed the competition at the Official Strongman Games World Championship in Arlington, Texas, over the weekend. Organizers said Booker, from Philadelphia, violated the contest’s rules, which clearly stipulate that athletes must compete in the category that aligns with their biological sex at birth (New York Post). Katie Jerkovich of RedState: When the top female contestants took to the podium, it was Booker who, obviously, had beaten them all, given the fact that he’s a biological male with huge advantages over the biological women. The second-place winner, UK lifter Andrea Thompson, refused to stand next to him on the stage, walking off the podium and saying something that looked like “This is bs…Can we go?” as Booker stood next to her, posing and smiling, pretending to be the rightful female winner (RedState).

President Trump Issues Thanksgiving Day Proclamation
Released yesterday: From the pilgrims who settled our continent and the patriots who won our independence on the battlefield to the pioneers who tamed the west and the warriors who have preserved our freedom in distant lands, the spirit of gratitude and grit embodied by those who celebrated the first Thanksgiving more than 400 years ago have stood at the very heart of what it means to be an American. This year, God has bestowed abundant blessings all across our land and indeed the entire world.  As we give thanks to Him, we continue to advance our Nation through strong leadership and commonsense policy…. As we prepare to celebrate 250 glorious years of American independence, this Thanksgiving, we summon the faith, resolve, and unflinching fortitude of the giants of American history who came before us.  We vow to build a future that echoes their sacrifice.  Above all, we offer our endless gratitude to Almighty God for His love, grace, and infinite blessings (White House).

A Look Back at Our Nation’s First Thanksgiving Day Proclamation
From George Washington on October 3, 1789: Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be—That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks—for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation…. and also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions—to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually—to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed—to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shewn kindness unto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord—To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease of science among them and us—and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best (Founders). Happy Thanksgiving!
