Dear Friends,

As we approach Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the many blessings we share and the enduring spirit that binds us together as Illinoisans. This holiday has a way of slowing life down just enough for us to look around our tables, into the faces of the people we love, and truly appreciate the gifts God has placed in our lives—faith, family, friendships, and the freedoms that define our nation.

This season of gratitude also brings to mind the remarkable people who make up our Republican family. Throughout the year, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many of you—volunteers, local leaders, candidates, supporters—each giving of yourselves in ways big and small to strengthen our communities and move our state forward. Your resilience, your optimism, and your commitment to the values we share continue to inspire me. I am deeply thankful for your dedication and for the trust you place in our party.

I know that for many families, this year has not been without challenges. Some will sit down to dinner with an empty chair at the table. Others are navigating hardship, loss, or uncertainty about the future. If this season finds you in such a place, please know you remain in my thoughts and prayers. Even in difficult times, the spirit of Thanksgiving reminds us that gratitude—rooted in faith and hope—can be a powerful source of strength.

Everywhere I travel across Illinois, I see the best of who we are reflected in the people I meet. I see parents working tirelessly for their children’s future, neighbors lending a helping hand without being asked, and communities coming together in the spirit of compassion and service. I see a deep belief in the promise of America—a belief that our rights come from God, that freedom must be protected, and that each generation has a responsibility to preserve these blessings for the next.

As we gather with those we love, I hope we each take a quiet moment to reflect on the good in our lives, to reach out to someone who may need support or companionship, and to renew our shared commitment to building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Illinois. May this season remind us that gratitude is not only a feeling but a way of living—one that brings us closer to one another and closer to the future we seek to create.

From my family to yours, thank you for all you do for our party, our communities, and our state. It is an honor to serve alongside you. May your Thanksgiving be filled with warmth, peace, and joy, and may God continue to bless you and the great state of Illinois.

Start today by making your personal plan to vote at https://vote.illinois.gop. Whether you need to check your registration status, update your address, or register for the first time, this tool is your one-stop resource.

You may also confirm your registration using the Illinois State Board of Elections’ Voter Registration Lookup. If you need to register to vote, you can do so online—just have your Illinois driver’s license or state ID and the last four digits of your Social Security number ready. Remember: March 1, 2026, is the final day to register online for the upcoming General Primary Election. Don’t wait—secure your voice in this critical election now.

Do you think people who’ve moved to Tennessee, Florida, or California should still be shaping Illinois’ leaders and laws? Of course not. Yet it happens—unless we act.

A volunteer working group across the Collar Counties and Cook County is helping former Illinois residents remove their names from the voter rolls where they used to live.

Volunteers hand-address envelopes that notify movers that their registration may still be active here and encourage them to take action.

A similar effort in Pennsylvania reportedly achieved a 28% success rate. The blueprint exists—now it needs two things: stamps and handwriters.

How you can help

  • In DuPage, Cook, Lake, or Will: drop off unused or newly purchased stamps.

  • Outside those counties: you can still help—contribute stamps or volunteer to handwrite. Contact Project Director Willard Helander at [email protected] for the drop-off or mailing address and next steps.

This project can move the needle locally and statewide—and it can be replicated across all 102 Illinois counties. If you’re looking for a concrete, personal way to get involved, reach out to Willard and let her know you want to help clean up Illinois’ voter rolls.
