In a couple of days, many service members won't smell hot Thanksgiving dishes coming out of the oven. They won't hear the familiar retelling of precious family stories. Many will be lucky just to get cell service.

An encouraging note of gratitude over the holidays can lift a service member's spirit in a powerful way. Just knowing folks back home are grateful for all they do is everything. That's why we need you to add your name to a Thanksgiving card to display in USO Centers around the world. This is a simple gesture that reminds our troops they’re not alone or forgotten.

This is your chance to remind service members that their sacrifice matters — not just in words, but in action. If we don't show up for our troops now, who will?

There are just two days until Thanksgiving, so please take a moment and thank our troops now. Thank you for standing with our heroes in uniform.
