John, I’m so excited to share that our grassroots campaign is endorsed by Dolores Huerta.

It means the world to me to have her endorsement.

I grew up organizing here in Kern County around education, immigration, and many other issues. When my classmates were needlessly expelled for not taking off a hat or chewing gum in class, it was Dolores Huerta and her foundation who stood up and fought for them.

For decades, Dolores has been on the front lines of the fight for justice in the Central Valley -- as co-founder of the United Farm Workers and a lifelong advocate for working families. She’s someone I’ve admired my entire life.

To have her support in this campaign means more to me than just an endorsement: it’s a reminder of why I do this work, and who I’m doing it for.
