As a grassroots organization, WE ACT for Environmental Justice’s mission is to empower and mobilize people of color and low income community members to fight for fair and just environmental and health protections. And it's thanks to grassroots supporters like you that WE ACT has grown from the humble beginnings of three West Harlem community activists fighting to stop the pollution of our neighborhood to a nationally recognized leader in environmental justice.

The Environmental Justice Sustainers ([link removed]) are our passionate community of monthly givers who are committed to sustaining WE ACT's work year-round and ending environmental racism for good. With an average gift of $25 – we hope you’ll become a WE ACT Sustainer too, by signing up for a monthly recurring gift. Giving Tuesday is just a week away, and we need 16 new Sustainers to help meet our goals for 2026. Please consider a recurring gift of $50, $25, or even $10.
