Team, this is Gabby Giffords.

Just a quick note from me, after everything that has happened over the last week.

Mark is my husband, my best friend, and my rock. He is a 25-year combat pilot veteran. He served our country with strength, courage, and integrity in and out of the uniform. He has dedicated his entire life to protecting us and upholding the Constitution.

For that, people like Elon Musk, Pete Hegseth, and Donald Trump accuse him of sedition, call him a traitor, and demand his execution. These actions aren’t just false — they are dangerous.

The words these men speak are taken seriously by millions and millions of people, and we know the reality of political violence all too well.

But I know that danger will not stop him. I am so proud of Mark for standing up and doing what is right, just as he’s done since he was 22 years old.

He needs us now. And I am humbly asking you for your help.
