My friend, I’d heard of furries, but to be honest, I didn’t think they were real.

Then one filed to run against me for Congress.

Samuel Smeltzer, whose furry name is Elyon Badger, announced he’s running against me, in costume, on a far left progressive platform.

On a serious note, Elyon isn’t much of a threat. But his Democratic primary opponents are and that’s why I need your help.

National Democrats have recruited multiple top tier candidates, including two Deep State liberals, and a progressive activist…

• Bridget Brink - President Biden’s Ambassador to Ukraine, who has never lived in the 7th District and mentioned Ukraine seven times in her announcement video before she mentioned Michigan.

• Matt Masdaam - A former military aide to President Obama, who has also never lived in the 7th District - and still doesn’t! He’s from Nebraska and openly admits he picked the 7th because it is a “bellwether district.”

• William Lawrence - a far left progressive activist whose campaign has largely consisted of organizing protests outside my office and harassing my staff - but at least he’s actually from the 7th District!

I was one of just five Republicans to flip a Democratic seat in 2024 and now I am a top target of national Democrats.

Dark money groups have already spent more than $3 million against me while my opponents have raised more than $2 million combined.

New polling shows two of my opponents with a narrow lead just one year before the election.

My 2024 race cost $40 million and cemented our House majority. My 2026 will cost even more and that’s why I need your help.
