When are Republicans in Congress going to grow a spine to call out Trump’s dangerous words and actions?

Last week, Donald Trump said a group of my Democratic colleagues – who simply encouraged servicemembers to follow the law – should be put to death.

Now Pete Hegseth’s Defense Department has opened an investigation into Senator Mark Kelly.

Even in the face of such egregious words and actions by this administration, my Republican colleagues have largely remained silent.

Frankly, it’s more important than ever that we flip the balance of power in the Senate, so we have the votes we need to hold this administration accountable.

Let’s be clear: Violence has NO place in our politics.
