Our next major fight against AIPAC — the far-right megadonor-funded, pro-Israel lobby — is happening in New York’s 13th congressional district.

Out-of-touch, corporate Democrat Rep. Adriano Espaillat currently represents NY-13. His biggest financial backer? AIPAC.

Since 2011, Espaillat has taken more than $186,000 from AIPAC. In exchange, he has:

❌ Stayed silent on the Israeli government’s genocide in Gaza
❌ Refused to sign on to the only legislation calling for a ceasefire
❌ Refused to sign on to legislation calling for an arms embargo
❌ Voted to send billions of dollars worth of bombs and weapons to Israel

Darializa Avila Chevalier, on the other hand, was a lead organizer of the pro-Palestine encampment at Columbia University in 2023-2024, standing in solidarity with Palestinians and urging Columbia to divest its endowment from companies profiting from Israel’s genocide and apartheid system.

And when her friend and fellow organizer Mahmoud Khalil was kidnapped by ICE, their representative, Espaillat, just said he ‘trusts’ Trump to follow the law. Darializa, on the other hand, organized and advocated for his release.

This race is a real chance to replace a genocide-enabling Democrat with a progressive champion for peace, and AIPAC knows it! They will spend as much as possible between now and the June primary to stop us.
