However, the House failed to address the crisis of abortion pills until Governor Greg Abbott placed the Pro-Life issue on the special sessions' agendas, following calls from Texas Right to Life and our Pro-Life friends.

Despite resistance in the House and fierce opposition from Democrats, Pro-Life lawmakers, especially in the Texas Senate, stood firm and confronted new abortion threats head-on. Their leadership ensured that Texas remains the national model for defending women, babies, and families.
